The Brief
The world’s largest provider of international education programmes, Education First, engaged Steely Eye to bring their classrooms into the mobile computing age with the first entirely digital language teaching classroom product. Replacing textbooks with iPads, and adding interactive courseware exercises, EF’s classrooms are now entirely online.
The class teacher can create dynamic lesson plans pulled from the extensive EF courseware database, and inject fresh content for listening and reading exercises drawn from the news stories of the day, so the textbooks are never out of date. During class, the teacher controls the pace and can monitor the progress of each student, while that day’s lessons can be revised in their own time when the students get home.
